Visually inspect the LED display in both on and off states. This includes: checking for surface contamination (to remove surface dirt that could affect light emission); checking for damage or cracks on the display surface; verifying the integrity of communication and power cables; for high-protection equipment, while high-reliability components and connectors are used, airtightness is crucial, so regular checks of seals are necessary; for outdoor steel structures, inspect for paint and rust; for heavily contaminated outdoor screens, thorough cleaning is required.
LED display cleaning is a high-altitude operation requiring a professional cleaning team. Cleaning is done using ropes (commonly known as "spider-men") or suspended platforms, equipped with specialized cleaning equipment. Cleaning personnel select different cleaning agents based on the type of dirt on the screen, ensuring the cleaning is completed without damaging the LED tubes and covers.
Two points to note during cleaning preparation:
1. Unplug the power cord before cleaning.
2. Choosing the right cleaning solution is crucial. Common cleaning solutions include electrolytes, high-purity distilled water, and antistatic solutions. Select high-quality solutions to effectively clean dust and other stains from the LED screen.
Cleaning and maintenance involves three steps:
Step 1: Vacuuming. First, vacuum and sweep away dirt and dust from the surface of the display screen.
Step 2: Wet Cleaning. Do not spray the cleaning solution directly onto the screen. Instead, spray a small amount onto a cleaning cloth and gently wipe in the same direction. Alternatively, use a soft brush on a vacuum cleaner to scrub the LED screen and remove dirt.
Step 3: Drying. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove any water residue left after wet cleaning, ensuring the display screen is clean and dust-free.
