Wireless projection solution for LED screens in hotel meeting rooms

The commonly used wireless projection solution for LED screens in hotel meeting rooms is to add wireless projection devices (such as the AWIND Qi Projector), and utilize the wireless local area network to achieve multi-device projection. It supports devices such as laptops, computers, mobile phones, tablets, and cameras, especially meeting the main usage requirements of computers and laptops. The specific solution is as follows:

The core equipment and principle of the solution adopt the AWIND Qi Machine Wireless Projection Device as the core equipment. It transmits signals through wireless local area network (WIFI), replacing the traditional wired connection. The projection device is divided into the sending end and the receiving end:

Receiving end: Connect the video processor signal input port (HDMI cable) of the LED screen, keep the output port of the video processor unchanged, to ensure that the signal is transmitted normally to the screen.

Transmitter: Deployed inside the meeting room, it is connected to the router in the computer room via WIFI bridge, enabling signal transmission across the physical partitions (as there is a curved solid wall between the computer room and the meeting room, a local area network bridge is needed to solve the problem of physical separation).

Specific implementation steps

Device connection and bridging

Connect the receiving end of the projection device to the input port of the video processor via an HDMI cable, and then connect the output port of the video processor to the LED large screen.

The main unit of the screen projection device (the receiving end) is placed in the computer room. It connects to the company's local area network through the wireless bridging function (in the sending end bridging mode) to ensure that the signal can penetrate through the solid wall partitions.

Computer screen projection operation

Hardware screen projection: Within the WIFI coverage area of the meeting room, insert the sending end (USB button) of the screen projector into the computer, and press the projection button to complete the connection.

Software screen projection: Install the ESHOW screen projection software on a Windows computer. Through the software interface, select the target device for projection to achieve more flexible operations (such as multi-screen interaction, split-screen display, etc.).

Mobile device screen projection operation

Android mobile phones/tablets: After connecting to the conference room's WIFI, use the built-in "Wireless Projection" function of the system, or search for and connect the projection device through the ESHOW software to complete the content projection.

Apple devices: After connecting to the same WIFI, enable the "Screen Mirroring" function, and the device will automatically search for the screen projector and establish a connection. It supports high-definition lossless transmission.

Advantages and Applicability of the Plan

Compatibility: Supports multiple system devices such as Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android, covering mainstream screen projection sources including laptops, computers, mobile phones, tablets, and cameras.

Stability: Through wireless local area network transmission, it avoids the problem of wired connection being affected by real walls, ensuring stable signal within an 80-square-meter studio.

Ease of use: No complex wiring required. The sending end and the receiving end automatically pair via WIFI, reducing deployment costs and time.

Scalability: Supports simultaneous screen projection on multiple devices (requires the projection device to have multi-split screen function), meeting the collaborative needs of multiple participants in a meeting.

Technical details and precautions

Network requirements: The meeting room needs to be covered by the company's router WIFI, and the signal strength must meet the requirements for screen projection (it is recommended that the bandwidth be ≥ 50Mbps to support 4K video transmission).

Equipment location: The receiving end of the projection device should be placed as close as possible to the video processor to minimize signal interference; the sending end should be placed inside the meeting room to ensure a short straight-line transmission distance to computers, mobile phones, and other devices.

Security settings: Enable the screen projector password protection function to prevent unauthorized devices from accessing, ensuring the privacy of the meeting content.

After-sales service and support: AWIND Qiji offers free online technical support. Based on the specific conditions of the meeting room (such as area, layout, and equipment type), customized optimization plans can be provided. Additionally, assistance is offered in adjusting the parameters of the projection device (such as resolution, frame rate, and latency) to ensure the best performance.

This solution seamlessly integrates with the existing LED large-screen system through a wireless projection device, achieving efficient and stable cross-device content sharing. It is an ideal solution for upgrading hotel meeting rooms to intelligent offices.
