When an LED screen receiver board interface is damaged, the problem can be resolved by data group swapping, without immediately replacing the receiver card. The specific steps are as follows:

I. Confirm Interface Damage: When an entire row of LED modules fails to display, first check if the receiver card interface is faulty. Common receiver cards have 8, 12, or 16 interfaces, but a cabinet typically only uses a portion of the interfaces (e.g., if only 5 interfaces are used, the remaining interfaces are idle). If a specific interface (e.g., interface 1) is confirmed to be damaged, prioritize using an idle interface for data group swapping.

II. Perform Hardware Connection Adjustments: Swap the ribbon cable connection: Disconnect the ribbon cable from the damaged interface (e.g., interface 1) and plug it into an idle interface (e.g., interface 7). For example, if interface 1 was originally connected to the first row of modules, now plug the ribbon cable into interface 7, ensuring a correct physical connection.

Keep other interfaces stable: Only adjust the connection between the damaged interface and the idle interface. Undamaged interfaces (e.g., interfaces 2-5) do not need to be changed to avoid accidental operation that could cause other problems.

III. Software Settings Adjustment

Open the data group switching software: Enter the receiver card's accompanying software and locate the data group configuration interface.

Modify the data group parameters: The original data groups of interface 1 (e.g., marked "1" and "2" in the software) need to be changed to the corresponding data groups of the idle interface 7 (e.g., "13" and "14").

Change "1" to "13" and "2" to "14", and set the "Automatic" option to the data of the first interface (ensuring correct data flow).

Save and send the settings: Click "OK" to save the configuration, exit the software, and then click "Send" to apply the new settings.

IV. Verify the Repair Effect
After completing the above operations, observe the display screen:

If the first row of modules returns to normal display, and the entire cabinet screen is normal (e.g., no screen flickering or misalignment), then the repair is successful.

If problems persist, check if the ribbon cable is securely connected, if the software settings are correct, or confirm if there is another fault (e.g., the module itself is damaged).

Precautions: Disconnect the power supply before operation to avoid short circuits; if the receiver card has no available interface, or if the problem persists after replacement, contact the manufacturer to replace the receiver card. This method is suitable for situations where the interface is physically damaged but other functions of the receiver card are normal, effectively reducing repair costs.
