1. Waterproofing during the production process: When manufacturing LED displays, the PCB boards should be treated for corrosion resistance, such as coating the surface with conformal coating. High-quality components should be selected for the power supply and power cables. The chosen waterproof enclosure should have good sealing, and the display body must achieve IP65. Welding points are the most prone to corrosion, so protective measures should be taken. Special attention should be given to the frame, which is prone to rust, so proper rust prevention treatment is necessary. Additionally, depending on the materials of different unit boards, professional waterproof coatings may be required. It's also important to check whether the unit board kits have waterproof grooves. Lastly, the waterproofing of the back panel of outdoor LED displays must be considered, as the back panel not only facilitates heat dissipation but also greatly aids waterproof performance. When treating the back waterproof coating, special attention should be paid to the waterproof performance of the small strip aluminum-plastic panels on the back. Drainage holes should be designed underneath the aluminum-plastic panels using a drill, which benefits both waterproofing and heat dissipation of the display.

2. Waterproofing needed during on-site installation: On a specific construction site, waterproofing should combine prevention and drainage in the structural design. Once the structure is determined, sealing strip materials with features such as hollow bubble tube structure, low permanent deformation under compression, and high tensile elongation should be considered. After selecting the sealing strip material, the contact surfaces and the forces at contact points should be designed according to the material's characteristics to ensure the sealing strip is compressed into a dense state.

3. Daily usage precautions: For outdoor screens, frequent use is necessary because an operating display generates some heat, which can evaporate moisture and greatly reduce the risk of short circuits caused by humidity. It is recommended that during the rainy season, the LED display should be turned on at least once a week for more than 2 hours.
