LED Large Screen Advertising Board Selection Tips
High Fill Factor: The fill factor (Fill Factor) of an LED display screen refers to the ratio of the light-emitting area of each pixel to the physical surface area occupied by that pixel. If the light source is confined to a very small pixel surface area, it will produce severe glare. Therefore, choosing an LED large screen advertising board with a high fill factor can provide a more comfortable visual experience.
Choose the Appropriate Pixel Pitch Based on Distance: P represents the pixel pitch. The value after P is the distance between the pixels of the display module. The smaller the pixel pitch value, the higher the number of pixels per unit, the clearer the picture, and the more suitable it is for close-range viewing. For outdoor LED displays, products between P2.5 and P12 are recommended for close-range viewing; P15 is suitable for slightly longer distances; and displays between P16 and P25 are suitable for even longer distances.
Consider the Usage Environment: Suitable operating conditions can reduce the failure rate during the product's lifespan. LED large screen advertising boards consist of control boards, switching power supplies, light-emitting devices, etc. The lifespan and stability of these components are closely related to the operating temperature. Therefore, it is essential to ensure that it operates within a suitable temperature range.
Outdoor LED Advertising Screen Protection Measures:
Rainstorm Protection: In outdoor environments, outdoor LED advertising screens must meet an IP65 rating. Modules should be potted and encapsulated, using waterproof housings, and connected to the housing with waterproof gaskets to prevent rainwater intrusion and damage.
High Temperature Protection:
Production Stage: Ensure the display circuit board is in good condition. The housing design should be as open as possible to aid heat dissipation.
Installation Stage: Depending on the installation location, ensure good ventilation in the environment where the display screen is located. If necessary, add cooling equipment to the display screen, such as external air conditioners or fans, to help dissipate heat and prevent high temperatures from affecting its performance and lifespan.
Typhoon Protection: Outdoor LED advertising screens have various installation locations, including wall-mounted, recessed, column-mounted, and suspended types. During typhoon season, to prevent equipment from falling, strict requirements are placed on the load-bearing steel frame structure of the display screen, ensuring that the steel frame structure can withstand the impact of typhoons and other severe weather.
