Like traditional electronic products, extending the lifespan of LED electronic displays requires not only proper usage methods but also careful maintenance. With the widespread use of LED displays, an increasing number of usage problems have arisen. Various objective and subjective factors have led to reduced lifespan and functional malfunctions. To better facilitate the use of LED display products, we have summarized some practical usage precautions and daily maintenance guidelines.
I. Environmental Precautions
1. Operating temperature range: -20℃ ≤ t ≤ 50℃; Operating humidity range: 10% to 90% RH;
2. Avoid use or storage in high temperature, high humidity, or high acid/alkali/salt environments;
3. Keep away from flammable materials, gases, and dust;
4. Avoid strong impacts and collisions with sharp objects during transportation;
5. Do not use the screen for extended periods when the ambient temperature is too high or heat dissipation is poor;
6. Exceeding the specified humidity level when powered on can cause component corrosion and even short circuits, resulting in permanent damage;
7. Water, iron powder, and other easily conductive metals must not enter the screen. LED displays should be placed in a low-dust environment. Excessive dust can affect display quality and damage circuitry. If water gets inside for any reason, immediately disconnect the power and allow all components inside the screen to dry completely before use.
II. Precautions for Turning the Screen On and Off
1. Turning on the screen: First, turn on the control computer and ensure it is running normally before turning on the LED display screen.
2. Turning off the screen: First, turn off the power to the LED screen and close the control software, then properly shut down the computer. (Turning off the computer before turning off the display screen will cause bright spots to appear on the screen, burning out the lamps, with serious consequences.)
3. The interval between turning the screen on and off should be greater than 5 minutes.
4. Avoid turning on the screen when it is completely white, as this is the maximum power state, resulting in the greatest inrush current to the entire power distribution system.
