In recent years, LED displays have become increasingly common, appearing in many indoor and outdoor venues such as conference rooms, exhibition halls, stations, stages, and shopping malls. So, how can you maintain an LED display screen to make it more durable? Here are some maintenance tips:
1. Ensure a stable power supply and proper grounding. Disconnect the power supply during severe weather such as thunderstorms or heavy rain.
2. Outdoor LED displays are exposed to wind and sun for extended periods, accumulating dust on their surface. Do not wipe the screen directly with a damp cloth. Use alcohol to wipe it, or use a brush or vacuum cleaner to remove dust.
3. Pay attention to the power-on/off sequence of the LED display screen. When powering on, first turn on the control computer and ensure it is running normally before turning on the LED display screen. When powering off, turn off the display screen first, then turn off the computer.
4. Water must not enter the display screen. Flammable materials and easily conductive metal objects must not be allowed to enter the screen to prevent short circuits and fires. If water gets inside, immediately disconnect the power and contact a repair technician. The screen should not be used again until the internal display panel is completely dry.
5. It is recommended that the LED display screen rest for at least 2 hours daily, and during the rainy season, use it at least once a week. Generally, the screen should be turned on at least once a month for at least 2 hours.
The LED display screen needs to be checked regularly to ensure it is working properly. Damaged wiring should be repaired or replaced promptly. The main control computer and related equipment should be placed in an air-conditioned, low-dust room to ensure proper ventilation, heat dissipation, and stable operation. Non-professionals should not touch the internal wiring of the screen to avoid electric shock or damage. If any problems occur, please have a professional inspect it.
