Stage LED rental screen malfunctions can affect performance schedules. This document provides a quick troubleshooting guide covering common faults, troubleshooting procedures, and solutions to help staff efficiently resolve problems.
I. Classification of Common Faults
Common stage LED screen faults are classified into three categories: display faults, signal faults, and power faults. Display faults include screen flickering, module failure, and color deviation; signal faults include signal interruption, screen freezing, and no signal input; power faults manifest as the screen failing to power on or partial module power failure. These faults are often caused by module damage, abnormal signal transmission, or power supply problems, requiring targeted troubleshooting.
II. Troubleshooting Procedure
Troubleshooting should follow a principle of starting with the easiest and progressing to the more difficult. First, check the power connection, confirming that the distribution box is supplying power normally, the power cord is not loose, and the power indicator light is on. If there is a power failure, replace with a backup power supply; secondly, check the signal source, switch to a backup signal source, and troubleshoot the signal source equipment. If the signal is normal, check the signal cable connection, re-plug or replace the signal cable; finally, check the modules and receiving cards. Use the control system to detect the module status. If a module is faulty, replace it quickly; if the receiving card is faulty, remove the back cover and replace it. For screen flickering problems, first increase the refresh rate to above 960Hz, then check signal stability; for color deviation, calibrate the white balance through software and replace with modules from the same batch.
III. Quick Solutions
Develop quick solutions for different faults. When a module is not lit, wear an anti-static wrist strap, loosen the rear buckle, and replace the new module (process ≤ 5 minutes); when the power supply is damaged, remove the four screws on the back cover, replace the power supply, and test the voltage stability; when the signal is interrupted, switch between the main and backup signal sources, check the fiber optic transceiver, and ensure normal signal transmission. In daily maintenance, regularly clean the signal interface, wipe the gold fingers with alcohol to prevent poor contact; regularly check the power supply and receiving cards, and replace aging components in advance to reduce the probability of failure. Also, equip with spare modules, power supplies, receiving cards, and other components for quick replacement to ensure the smooth running of the performance.
