I. Needs Assessment and Goal Setting

Promotional activities are typically concentrated at mall entrances, atriums, or specific promotional areas. The following elements need to be clearly defined:

1. Activity Goals: New product promotion, holiday sales, brand image display, or customer traffic guidance.

2. Venue Conditions: Installation area dimensions, lighting environment (indoor/semi-outdoor), expected viewing distance and viewing angle.

3. Content Type: High-definition product videos, promotional text information, interactive game screens, or live streaming.

4. Budget Range: Including equipment rental, installation and maintenance, and possible content production costs.

II. Equipment Selection and Technical Parameters

Select the appropriate LED rental screen based on the promotional scenario:

1. Pixel Pitch (P-value): For indoor shopping mall atriums or close-range viewing areas.

2. Brightness: Indoor environments usually require 1500-2500 nits; if the area has strong natural light or is a semi-outdoor environment, more than 3000 nits are needed; full outdoor promotions require a brightness of more than 5000 cd/m³. 1 2

3. Size Calculation: Determine the screen area based on the available area of the venue and the optimal viewing distance. For example, if the audience is 10 meters from the screen in the atrium area, it is recommended that the screen area be no less than 20 square meters, with a resolution of at least P4. 2

4. Refresh Rate and Color: Playing dynamic promotional videos requires a high refresh rate (≥1920Hz) to avoid shooting artifacts; a chromaticity coordinate (Axy) ≤0.003 is required to ensure color consistency. 1

III. Installation, Debugging, and On-site Operation and Maintenance

1. On-site Survey: Confirm the structural load-bearing capacity of the installation location, power access points, and signal transmission paths to ensure that there are no visual obstructions after screen installation. 2

2. System Debugging: Connect the signal source (such as a computer, media player), test the image integrity, brightness uniformity, and audio synchronization effect, and complete at least one full-function test. 2

3. Content Management: Promotional content should be played in segments at scheduled times, such as alternating displays of new product videos, discount text, and interactive QR codes. Updates can be made in real time via USB, network, or control software. 3

IV. Cost Control and Optimization Suggestions

1. Cost Components: Equipment rental fees (calculated by size and rental duration), transportation and installation fees, on-site technical personnel fees, and possible content production fees. 2. Cost-effective choices: Avoid solely pursuing the largest size; choosing an appropriate pixel pitch based on the actual viewing distance can save costs. Discounts are usually available for rentals of 3 days or more, and bundling sound and lighting equipment rentals may result in additional savings.

3. Risk mitigation: Choose a supplier with clear usage records, a dead pixel rate of less than one in ten thousand, and experience in at least 50 similar events.
