This necessitates new materials, processes, and product structures, which naturally means higher costs. In short, groundbreaking innovative applications are always based on the support of core technologies.
Do LED displays need to be "soft"?
In the large LED display market, it must be said that this billion-dollar industry is currently supported by "rigid" displays-and there is no shortage of curved screens. How do rigid display products achieve curved LED screen displays? Essentially, these curved display screens do not require a large curvature. Whether for exterior or interior applications, curved LED surfaces can be constructed using small modules in a "polyhedral" manner. And because the curvature is not very large, the display effect is still satisfactory.
Therefore, for LED display products to achieve "flexibility," they must first explore a completely new market: requiring display engineering designs with significant curvature. This often refers to creative commercial, cultural, or advertising display products, rather than simple traditional "large LED screen applications."
Using differentiated products to achieve a "leapfrog development": The high-end small-pitch LED product market is already characterized by "competitive market competition among numerous brands." Against this backdrop, international brands that started slightly later in the market for hot products like small-pitch LEDs must adopt a "new market space development" approach to achieve a "leapfrog development." Near-flexible LED screen designs are a product that is likely to shine in the commercial sector, especially in airports, high-speed rail stations, high-end department stores, international giant brand experience centers, and cultural and creative industries.
