In LED display applications, the concepts of brightness levels and grayscale levels often confuse beginners. Brightness levels adjust the overall brightness of the display, while grayscale levels subdivide each brightness level, providing greater finer detail.

For example, a display with 100 brightness levels and 4096 grayscale levels, even at its lowest brightness setting, still possesses 4096 grayscale levels, allowing it to display a rich variety of color gradations. This fine grayscale division significantly improves display quality, especially in scenarios requiring nuanced light and shadow effects.

Simply put, brightness levels focus on the overall brightness and darkness of the display, while grayscale levels emphasize the representation of details.
