A Traffic Guidance Screen (Variable Message Sign, VMS) is a core component of an intelligent transportation system. Utilizing LED display technology, it is primarily used on highways, urban roads, and intersections. It uses red, yellow, and green light strips to indicate real-time traffic congestion, slow traffic, and smooth flow, combining graphics and variable message signs to guide drivers in adjusting their routes and displaying dynamic information such as parking availability and weather warnings.

This facility consists of the screen itself, a control system, a communication module, and a steel frame. It features a double-layer cold-rolled steel enclosure design, meeting IP65 protection standards, with wind resistance up to 40m/s, and adaptability to operating environments from -40℃ to 60℃. It supports remote control and fiber optic transmission, and features adaptive brightness adjustment, equipment self-testing, and dual-network hot backup. The display screen has a viewing distance of up to 300 meters, and pixel specifications cover P10 to P22mm. The gantry-mounted installation allows it to span roads and integrate with traffic light systems to dynamically control traffic flow, effectively improving traffic efficiency.

At intersections and other locations, traffic guidance screens constantly remind people to pay attention to safety when traveling, promote traffic knowledge to citizens, and provide timely traffic information for the city.

They are also often used to display information such as weather and temperature, providing convenience for drivers and contributing to a better traffic order.

Traffic guidance screens are displays made of LED light-emitting diodes used for traffic guidance. They are generally used on highways. Kewei traffic guidance screens consist of the screen body, drive system, control system, communication equipment, power system, gantry, and housing. Traffic guidance screens include graphic guidance signs and are multifunctional information displays combining ordinary road signs and variable message signs.

Traffic guidance screens provide drivers with road directions in a graphical format that presents the overall road route outline, functioning as road signs. LED variable light strips are embedded in the static graphic road segment marking areas. These LEDs emit different colors to visually indicate the real-time traffic conditions of these segments, such as smooth (green), congested (red), or crowded (orange), helping drivers judge and choose appropriate routes, thus serving a traffic guidance function. Traffic guidance screens have significant advantages such as intuitive display, large information capacity, relatively short viewing time, and guidance for drivers unfamiliar with the road conditions. They are suitable for densely networked urban roads and major highways.

Traffic guidance screens are suitable for information display and advertising in exhibition centers, stadiums, airports, docks, stations, streets, highways, etc. Various specifications are available based on display pixel size, including P10mm, P12mm, P14mm, P16mm, and P20mm. Display types include outdoor single red, outdoor dual-color (red and green), and outdoor full-color.
