Indoor P4 Full-Color LED Display Screen Technical Parameters and Installation Guide
I. Technical Parameters
Dot Pitch: 4mm, a relatively large dot pitch for indoor screens, suitable for scenarios where high resolution is not a primary concern.
Dot Density: 62,500 dots/㎡ (suitable for both indoor and outdoor use).
Module Types and Specifications:
128×128mm: Small board module, suitable for bars, KTVs, and irregularly shaped screen splicing; ideal for irregularly shaped screens.
256×128mm: Standard size module, using 2 data sets and 16-scan mode, standard configuration includes matte LEDs, a 2038 high refresh rate IC, and a refresh rate ≥1920Hz.
256×256mm: Large board module, integrated PCB design, 2 data sets and 32-scan mode, lower brightness, suitable for budget-conscious locations.
320×160mm: Universal size module, market-standard design, easy to replace and maintain, but not a standard size; 256×128mm remains the mainstream.
Cabinet Types:
Simple Cabinet: Rear-maintenance type, suitable for large venues with fixed installations.
Standard Cabinet: Adds a rear cover to prevent rodent chewing, commonly found in catering establishments.
Die-cast Aluminum Cabinet: Lightweight design, easy to install and disassemble, suitable for rental screens, wiring uses aviation plugs.
II. Installation Methods
Wall-mounted Front Maintenance Installation: Uses magnetic front maintenance, suitable for compact spaces.
Rear Maintenance Installation: Achieves rear maintenance through the cabinet structure, suitable for large screen projects.
Steel structure drawings are usually provided by the screen manufacturer, but can also be drawn based on professional experience.
III. Installation Steps and Precautions
Module Selection: Select the module size according to the scene requirements, such as prioritizing 128×128mm for irregularly shaped bar screens, and 256×128mm for standard screens.
Cabinet Installation: For fixed installations, choose a simple cabinet; for catering venues, use a standard cabinet; for rental screens, choose a die-cast aluminum cabinet.
Steel Structure Construction: Complete the steel structure installation according to the screen manufacturer's drawings or professional experience to ensure load-bearing capacity and stability.
Debugging and Control System: Debugging methods vary depending on the control card manufacturer; refer to specific technical documents.
IV. Applicable Scenarios and Recommendations
Applicable Venues: Bars, large indoor screens, rental screens, restaurants, and other scenarios where high resolution requirements are not crucial.
Area Recommendation: P4 models are not recommended for LED screens under 10㎡.
For projects larger than 10㎡ with limited budgets, P4 remains competitive.
Technical Consultation: Detailed parameters such as product power consumption, LED brightness, and IC model can be consulted with the supplier.
V. Advantages Summary
High Cost-Effectiveness: P4 was an advantageous model two years ago when small-pitch LED technology was not yet mature.
High Durability: Less prone to LED chip damage, suitable for long-term use.
Flexible Modules and Cabinets: Supports irregular splicing and post-maintenance design, meeting diverse needs.
