WIFI Wireless Control
Operation Method: Install a wireless router or other wireless device and bridge it with an existing wireless network to build a wireless local area network (LAN). This allows the network controller card to integrate and control the wireless network.
Features: No wiring required, easy installation and debugging, fast data transmission speed.
Applicable Scenarios: Suitable for locations with short-range wireless signal coverage. If the display area has wireless network coverage, the LED electronic screen can be controlled by all computers on the internal network by bridging the wireless router connected to the control card to the wireless network.
Disadvantages: Communication distance is limited by the bridge gain function; wireless communication distance is short; weak or no signal may occur in certain areas.
RF Wireless Control
Working Principle: The RF module is located on one side of the control computer and on the other side of the control card's serial port. After installing the driver on the computer, a virtual serial port is created, through which data is transmitted.
Features: Easy installation and debugging; data transmission distance can reach 300-1000 meters; no subsequent operating costs.
Disadvantages: Wireless frequency bands are not permitted for civilian use in China; 433MHz deployment is susceptible to signal interference; baud rate is low (only supports 4800 or 9600); not recommended.
GPRS Wireless Control
Operating Method: After powering on, the GPRS module establishes a dial-up internet connection to a data center server. Clients access the server and transmit information through client software.
Features: Easy installation and debugging; no distance limitations; can receive information wherever there is mobile signal; low price.
Applicable Scenarios: Suitable for LED electronic screens that primarily display text in single or dual colors.
Disadvantages: Requires a China Mobile SIM card with at least a 5 RMB data package, incurring monthly data costs. Slower transmission speed due to GPRS bandwidth limitations.
4G Wireless Control
Operating Method: Basically the same as 3G/GPRS, connecting to a data center server via a 4G network.
Features: Fast transmission speed; complete real-time control; immediate response to relevant control commands.
Disadvantages: Higher data costs for large data transfer volumes; activating a data package is recommended.
3G (WCDMA) Wireless Control
Working Principle: The 3G module connects to the data center server via a wireless network. Customers directly log in to the global collaborative content cloud platform to publish plans, and the data is transmitted directly from the server to the control card.
Features: WCDMA signal is stable, with less data loss during program transmission. Image or video transmission speed is faster than GPRS, making it more suitable for LED electronic screens.
Disadvantages: China Unicom signal coverage is not as wide as China Mobile's; network connectivity may be unavailable in remote areas.
