In recent years, high-rise buildings and office buildings across the country have begun to use glass curtain walls as their facade treatment, and this has gradually become mainstream. On the one hand, the glass curtain wall structure ensures natural light and frees up interior office space; on the other hand, the design of a pure glass curtain wall, due to its transparency and the large amount of light entering the interior, also carries the metaphor of a "diamond." Diamonds symbolize wealth and eternity, satisfying the psychological needs of the owners. So, what are the advantages of using transparent LED displays for the lighting of commercial building glass curtain walls?
Due to the special material of glass curtain walls and aesthetic considerations, simple point, line, and surface lighting fixtures cannot be used for glass curtain walls. LED wall washer lights and other lighting products will affect the aesthetics of the glass curtain wall and the interior lighting and viewing angle; therefore, we do not recommend owners use these types of lighting fixtures for quantitative purposes.
In addition, luminous LED glass has also been used in the lighting of glass curtain walls, but the effect is not good; it can only simply emit light and change color, and cannot achieve interactive lighting advertising of images, videos, and text.
Transparent LED displays boast high transparency and flexibility, allowing for installation on various flat and curved glass curtain walls without obstructing daytime lighting. Their size and shape can be customized to fit the curtain wall material, enabling concealed installation and ensuring a clean and pure building facade, achieving architectural integration. Transparent LED displays can be flexibly configured into pixel display systems of any density, with intelligent control enabling the playback of animations, media, and videos. This new media form of curtain walls, combining transparent LED screens with high-transparency glass, highlights the building's cool yet not austere character. Using the curtain wall as the main element, it employs modern LED optoelectronic language, refined yet understated details, and a humble yet assertive design that actively mitigates negative spatial factors, creating a sense of spaciousness without isolation.
