Stage LED Rental Screen Maintenance Guide
The frequent assembly and disassembly of rental screens can easily lead to module damage and signal failures. Scientific maintenance can extend service life and reduce downtime risks. The following are the modular maintenance process and daily maintenance guidelines.
Modular maintenance allows for quick handling of common faults. Module replacement uses a rear-maintenance design, allowing operation without opening the cabinet. The steps are: disconnect the power, loosen the rear buckles, unplug the module signal connector, replace with a new module, and lock it in place. The entire process takes ≤5 minutes. Operators must wear anti-static wrist straps to prevent electrostatic damage to the modules. Power supply and receiving card maintenance only requires removing 4 screws on the back cover for quick replacement. After replacement, the voltage stability (DC 5V±0.1V) needs to be tested to prevent voltage fluctuations from damaging the modules. For cleaning the face mask, gently wipe with a lint-free cloth dampened with alcohol to remove dust and stains. The use of corrosive cleaning agents is strictly prohibited to prevent yellowing and light leakage of the face mask.
Daily maintenance should focus on heat dissipation management, moisture and mildew prevention, and signal interface maintenance. The aluminum heat sink provides natural heat dissipation without the need for external fans. Regularly clean the heat sink to ensure efficient heat dissipation, keeping the module temperature ≤40℃ to extend component life. After performances, promptly wipe away rainwater from the surface of outdoor screens. Store in an environment with humidity ≤60%, and use desiccants to prevent moisture damage to the modules. For long-term storage (≥3 months), power on the screen once a month for 30 minutes to remove moisture and prevent mildew. Regularly clean dust from the signal interfaces, wipe the gold fingers with alcohol to prevent poor contact, and avoid forcefully pulling the signal cables to protect the interface pins.
Troubleshooting should follow standard procedures. If the screen flickers, first check the refresh rate settings and increase it to above 960Hz, then test the stability of the signal source and switch to a backup signal source; if a module is not lit, first check the power connection, replace the faulty power supply, then test the receiving card signal output, re-plug the signal connector or replace the receiving card; if there is color deviation, adjust the color coordinates through software to calibrate the white balance. If the problem persists, replace the module with one from the same batch. Maintenance schedules should be planned rationally. For short-term rentals (≤1 week), cleaning and inspection should be performed after each use; for long-term rentals (≥1 month), comprehensive maintenance should be conducted weekly, and the outdoor screen dust filter should be replaced monthly. Through standardized maintenance procedures, the failure rate of rental screens can be reduced to ≤1%, ensuring stable performance during events.
