Outdoor LED displays have a large surface area, and the design of their steel structure must consider numerous factors such as foundation, wind load, seismic rating, waterproofing, dustproofing, ambient temperature, and lightning protection. The steel structure must accommodate auxiliary equipment such as power distribution cabinets, air conditioners, axial fans, and lighting, as well as maintenance facilities such as walkways and ladders. The entire outdoor screen structure must meet a protection rating of IP65 or lower.

1. Wall Mounting

Standard Wall Mounting: Suitable for single-cabinet displays with a total weight less than 50kg. It can be directly mounted on a load-bearing wall without requiring maintenance space. The display cabinet uses a front-maintenance design; for maintenance, the display can be opened from the bottom. See the diagram below:

Frame Mounting: Suitable for general outdoor LED displays. Considering the difficulty of display maintenance, a steel structure support is used between the screen and the wall, leaving an 800mm maintenance space. This space is equipped with walkways, ladders, and other maintenance facilities, and also houses auxiliary equipment such as power distribution cabinets, air conditioners, axial fans, and lighting. See the diagram below:

2. Pole Mounting

Pole mounting is suitable for installing LED displays in open areas. The outdoor screen is installed on a pole. Poles are divided into single-pole and double-pole types. In addition to the screen's steel structure, a concrete or steel pole needs to be constructed, primarily considering the geological conditions of the foundation. See the diagram below:

3. Embedded Mounting

Embedded mounting is suitable for display projects that have been included in the building's planning and design. The installation space for the display is pre-reserved during the civil construction project. During actual installation, only the display's steel structure needs to be fabricated to embed the display into the building wall, leaving sufficient maintenance space at the back.

4. Ground Mounting

Ground mounting involves constructing a concrete wall on the ground that is sufficient to support the entire LED display. A steel structure is built on the wall to install the display. The steel structure leaves an 800mm maintenance space for relevant equipment and maintenance facilities.
