The clarity of an LED display screen depends on the usage environment, screen size, and viewing distance. The screen size can be designed according to the actual site environment and is adjustable. LED displays are commonly wall-mounted using a steel structure, featuring an ultra-thin design with a screen thickness of less than 10cm, saving space and enhancing aesthetics. The display screen uses a front maintenance mode, allowing the modules to be removed from the front for maintenance and replacement.

P2.5 LED full-color display screens are available in module sizes of 320mm*160mm and 160mm*160mm, with 320mm*160mm being the most common size. The module resolution is 128 dots * 64 dots, or 160,000 pixels per square meter, offering high resolution and making it a popular choice for many customers. The indoor P2.5 color screen kit design controls the splicing error between modules to within ±0.1mm, making it easy to install. It can be made into any shape according to user needs, and assembly, disassembly, and maintenance are convenient. Maipu Optoelectronics P2.5 full-color LED electronic displays come in various shapes: rectangular, square, curved, circular, and other customized designs. The indoor P2.5 color screen uses common computer operating systems and universal playback software for control, making it easy to learn and understand. Playback content and sequence can be edited arbitrarily, making system setup and operation very convenient. The indoor P2.5 full-color LED display has good flatness, seamless splicing, and high resolution, which can well display high-definition image quality and delicate colors. It is widely used in hotels, conference rooms, exhibition halls, reception areas, airports, train stations, exhibition halls, tax bureaus, financial institutions, power companies, telecommunications companies, and live television broadcasts.

How to Choose the Right LED Electronic Display Model: Many customers who purchase LED displays do not have a clear concept of which type of LED display to choose. We should choose the appropriate LED product based on our own needs. Here, we will analyze in detail how to select an LED display.

First, it's crucial to clarify whether you need an indoor or outdoor LED display. Indoor LED screens are not waterproof, while outdoor large screens are.

Second, you need to determine the approximate size of the display, specifically its length and height.

Third, you need to measure the viewing distance, specifically the approximate viewing distance from the display screen (both near and far).

With these three measurements, you can roughly determine what kind of LED display meets your requirements.

For example, if you want to install a full-color LED display on a banquet hall backdrop, you'll need to measure the distance from the installation location to the first row of viewers.

I. In full-color LED displays, "P" represents the pixel pitch. For example, P2.5 is 2.5mm, and P4 is 4mm. Different pixel pitches result in different resolutions and sharpness. Smaller pixel pitches offer higher resolution and sharpness, therefore, they are more expensive.

Second, different pixel pitches result in different pixel densities per square meter. P2 has 250,000 pixels per square meter, P2.5 has 160,000 pixels per square meter, P3 has 111,111 pixels per square meter, and P4 has 62,500 pixels per square meter.

Third, different pixel pitches also mean different suitable viewing distances. For example, P3 is best viewed at a distance of 3 meters or more, P4 is suitable for viewing at a distance of 4 meters or more, and so on, with P10 suitable for viewing at a distance of 10 meters or more. If the screen area is too small, a higher density LED display model is needed to achieve a good display effect.

P2.5 LED full-color displays are easy to disassemble, offer clear images, good stability, low power consumption, high luminous efficiency, and long lifespan, making them ideal for applications such as small concerts, small gatherings, indoor sports broadcasts, and indoor advertising displays. Many customers, when purchasing indoor full-color LED displays, are unclear about the differences between various models and what resolution actually means. Today, we'll take the P2.5 full-color display as an example to see how to calculate its resolution:

P2.5 LED display resolution is similar to computer screen resolution. LED display resolution is an important indicator of the clarity of displayed content, expressed in pixels (vertical and horizontal dimensions). However, unlike computer screens, P2.5 display resolution refers to its physical resolution, meaning the number of physical pixels. Once the hardware is complete, the resolution cannot be changed.

So how is the resolution of a P2.5 LED full-color display calculated? Because LED electronic screens are customized products, each LED electronic screen may have a different size. Therefore, even for the same model of display, the overall screen resolution will vary depending on the size of the screen.

For example, a full-color LED display with 100 dots per unit length (usually 1 meter) would have a resolution of 500*200 if it's 5 meters wide and 2 meters high, while a 1-meter wide and 1-meter high screen would have a resolution of 100*100.

How to calculate the resolution of a P2.5 LED full-color display: Resolution per square meter = 1 / pixel pitch (converted to megabytes) / pixel pitch (converted to megabytes). For example: The resolution per square meter of a P2.5 indoor LED display = 1 / 0.0025 / 0.0025 = 160,000 DOT (dots). For instance: An indoor P2.5 full-color LED screen is 8 meters long and 4 meters high, with P2.5 module dimensions of 320mm*160mm. The module resolution is 128*64 dots, and the overall screen resolution is 3200*1600.

Through the above calculation method, we can see that the resolution of a P2.5 LED display can reach 160,000 dots per square meter.

The P2.5 full-color LED display uses SMD surface-mount 2121 LED chips in a three-in-one package, primarily composed of red, green, and blue LEDs. It has 160,000 pixels per square meter, with a pixel pitch of 2.5mm. The scanning method is 32-scan, and the power consumption is approximately 500 watts per square meter. Its innovative mask design ensures more uniform color mixing, and the high-density pixels result in clearer image quality and a wider viewing angle. The P2.5 indoor LED display refers to a pixel pitch of 2.5mm. The "P" in the LED display refers to the pixel pitch size; a smaller number after "P" indicates higher pixel density and greater clarity.
