How to clean the dust on the LED display screen?

To clean the dust on the LED display screen, you need to follow the standard operating procedures. The specific steps and precautions are as follows:

I. Preparations Before Cleaning

Before cleaning, the LED display must be turned off and the power disconnected to avoid the risk of electric shock or circuit short-circuiting due to static electricity.

Tool Selection

Soft cloth / microfiber cloth: Used for wiping the surface of the screen to prevent scratching the coating.

Small brush: For cleaning dust from crevices, choose a type with soft bristles that are less likely to shed.

Cleaning agent: Only pure water or dedicated display screen cleaner is allowed. Strong chemical solvents such as alcohol and gasoline must not be used to prevent damage to the screen coating.

II. Cleaning Steps

Surface Dust Removal

Use a small brush to gently brush along the screen texture to remove surface dust and particles. Avoid applying excessive pressure.

Then, use a dry soft cloth to wipe in the same direction to ensure that all the dust is completely removed.

Stain Removal

If there are stubborn stains on the screen, wet a soft cloth with a small amount of pure water or a dedicated cleaner, and wring it out until no water drips.

Gentle wiping: Use circular motions to handle the stains, avoid repeatedly rubbing the same area to prevent the coating from being worn down.

Gap cleaning

For areas such as the screen edges and module gaps, use a small brush to gently brush into the gaps. If necessary, you can also use a vacuum cleaner (with the lowest suction setting) to assist in the cleaning process.

III. Important Notes

Force Control: During cleaning, the action should be gentle to prevent the screen from deforming or pixel damage due to excessive force.

Liquid Protection: Strictly prohibit cleaning agents or water from entering the screen interior; otherwise, it may cause short circuits or component corrosion.

Environmental Requirements: After cleaning, ensure the screen is completely dry (it is recommended to let it air dry for more than 30 minutes) before powering on and using.

IV. Daily Maintenance Suggestions

Dust Prevention Measures: When the screen is not in use for a long time, you can cover it with a dust cover or wipe the screen with a dry soft cloth regularly.

Environmental Optimization: Keep the usage area clean to reduce dust accumulation; avoid operating the equipment in humid, dusty, or high-temperature environments.

By following proper procedures, you can effectively extend the lifespan of the LED display screen and maintain its display quality. If the screen is damaged or there are still abnormalities after cleaning, it is recommended to contact a professional repair person for handling.
