Four Classification Methods for LED Vehicle Electronic Display Screens:

Classification by LED Bead Pitch

P6: 6mm LED bead pitch, mainly used in taxi advertising screens, offering a fine display effect, with a viewing distance of 10-50 meters, suitable for short-distance advertising.

P7.62: 6mm horizontal pitch, 7.62mm vertical pitch, suitable for medium-to-long-distance advertising with a viewing distance of 30-80 meters.

P10*8: 8mm horizontal pitch, 10mm vertical pitch, commonly used in bus screens, effectively displaying bus information or advertisements.

P8.2: 8.2mm LED bead pitch, mostly used in bus displays, also effectively conveying bus information.

Classification by Color

Monochrome Screen: Available in single colors such as red, yellow, blue, green, and white, mainly used in taxi roof advertising screens or front and rear bus displays to display road signs or advertising information.

Dual-color screen: A single screen can display two colors, typically used in bus function screens to display information such as arrival times. It offers richer information display compared to monochrome screens.

Full-color screen: Also known as a color screen, it's mainly used for displaying full-color advertisements. It's usually larger and more expensive to produce, but the advertising effect is also more significant, attracting more attention.

Classification by carrier:

Taxi LED scrolling screen: Installed on the roof or rear window of taxis, mostly monochrome or dual-color LED strips, scrolling text information or advertisements. It's an important form of mobile urban advertising.

Truck LED screen: Large truck bodies can be converted into full-color high-definition LED displays. They have high brightness, are waterproof, and sun-resistant, suitable for outdoor advertising displays, and better attract the attention of passersby.

Bus LED display: Mainly used for bus route signs, usually monochrome or dual-color, displaying stop information, providing passengers with convenient travel information.

Classification by advertising display method:

Serial port/USB flash drive type: Suitable for situations with a small fleet or where frequent changes to advertising content are not required, such as LED displays at bus stops. Updating advertising content via serial cable connection to a computer or USB flash drive is relatively simple and low-cost.

GPRS type: Suitable for scenarios with a large fleet or requiring frequent advertising content updates. Remote control via computer significantly improves the efficiency of advertising updates, making it particularly suitable for advertising management of large fleets, offering flexibility and real-time performance.

GPS type: Similar to the GPRS type, GPS-enabled vehicle displays also support remote control of advertising placement. In addition, they possess other GPS functions, such as vehicle location and management capabilities. Because GPS can accurately synchronize time, GPS-enabled LED vehicle displays have a significant advantage in advertising synchronization, with accuracy down to the second level, making them suitable for situations with strict requirements on advertising placement time.

In summary, LED vehicle electronic displays can be classified in various ways, each with its specific application scenarios and advantages. When choosing, a comprehensive consideration of actual needs and the usage environment is necessary to select the most suitable LED vehicle electronic display.
