Equipment Selection and Key Technical Parameters (Screen Body and Splicing)
Common Model Distinction
Outdoor screens mostly adopt unit panels with different pixel densities such as P25-P10, which are spliced to form a large-size screen. The higher the density, the closer the viewing distance, suitable for activities with close viewing; for long-distance viewing, a combination scheme with larger pixel density can be selected.
Protection and Weather Resistance
The protection grade is usually IP65/IP66, with waterproof, dustproof and sun and wind resistance, and has the ability to work at high and low temperatures.
Brightness and Contrast
Outdoor screens should have observable high brightness and good dynamic contrast, and can maintain image clarity under strong daylight.
Viewing Angle and Uniformity
The viewing angles up, down, left and right should be as symmetrical as possible to avoid edge color deviation or insufficient brightness areas.
Signal and Synchronization
Support multi-channel signal source input and have multi-screen synchronous playback capability to ensure no dislocation or jitter of the pictures of each module in large scenarios.
Color Management and Correction
Have the functions of unified color temperature, grayscale level and brightness calibration, facilitating quick on-site debugging and maintaining picture consistency.
Reliability Design
Have mechanisms such as redundant power supply, thermal management, lightning protection and grounding to reduce the probability of accidental failures.
Can access a variety of video sources (HDMI, SDI, optical fiber, etc.), and support display forms such as split screen, picture-in-picture and scrolling subtitles.
Control Terminal and Software
Provide on-site control software and cloud/local backup schemes to facilitate remote management and emergency handling.
