The emergence of irregularly shaped LED displays has broken the mold of large-screen splicing systems limited to cold, rectangular shapes. They can be freely assembled into various irregular shapes to display highly creative content, not only attracting attention immediately for better advertising but also significantly expanding the application scope of LED display splicing.

Currently, LED irregularly shaped screen modules mainly come in fan-shaped, arc-shaped, circular, cylindrical, and triangular structures. Compared to conventional LED displays, irregularly shaped LED screens cater to users with specific needs and are currently mainly used in performance venues, outdoor media, exhibition halls, and plazas.

Classification of Irregularly Shaped LED Displays: Irregularly shaped LED screens are special-shaped LED displays modified from conventional LED displays. Unlike the rectangular or flat panel shapes of conventional LED displays, they come in various shapes, including arcs, curved surfaces, cubes, letters, and other irregular forms. Based on shape, LED irregular-shaped screens can be roughly divided into the following categories:

(1) Arc-shaped display screen: The display surface is part of a cylindrical curved surface, and its unfolded shape is rectangular.

(2) Irregularly shaped display screen: The display surface is an irregular plane, such as a circle, triangle, or a completely irregular plane.

(3) Curved display screen: The display surface is a three-dimensional curved surface, such as a spherical screen, a polyhedral screen, and a dome screen.

Strip screen: The display surface of this type of screen is composed of several display strips. This type of screen has a large pixel pitch, high transparency, and low contrast.
