Common maintenance methods and precautions for LED electronic display screens are outlined below to help users avoid unnecessary damage and extend the lifespan of the display screen.

I. Precautions for the Operating Environment

1. Operating environment temperature range: -20℃≤t≤50℃, operating environment humidity range: 10% to 90% RH;

2. Avoid using or storing the display in high temperature, high humidity, or high acid/alkali/salt environments;

3. Keep away from flammable materials, gases, and dust;

4. Avoid strong collisions and contact with sharp objects during transportation;

5. When the ambient temperature is too high or the heat dissipation conditions are poor, avoid using the screen for extended periods;

6. If the LED display screen is exposed to humidity exceeding the specified level while powered on, it may cause corrosion of components, or even short circuits, leading to permanent damage;

7. Water, iron filings, and other conductive metal objects are strictly prohibited from entering the screen. The LED display screen should be placed in a low-dust environment as much as possible. Large amounts of dust can affect the display effect and damage the circuit. If water enters the screen for any reason, immediately disconnect the power until all components inside the screen are completely dry before use;

8. Avoid placing items that can create a humid environment, such as fish tanks, plants, and flowers, near the screen. II. Precautions for Switching the Screen On and Off

1. Turning on the screen: First, turn on the control computer to ensure it is running normally, then turn on the LED display screen.

2. Turning off the screen: First, turn off the power to the LED screen, then turn off the control software, and finally shut down the computer correctly. (Turning off the computer before turning off the display screen will cause high-brightness spots on the screen, burning out the LED lights, with serious consequences.)

3. The time interval between turning the screen on and off should be greater than 5 minutes.

4. Avoid turning on the screen in a completely white screen state, as this is the maximum power state, and the inrush current to the entire power distribution system is at its maximum.

III. Power Supply Precautions

1. The LED module uses a DC +5V power supply (operating voltage: 4.2-5.2V), and AC power supply is prohibited; the positive and negative terminals of the power supply must not be reversed (Note: Reversing the polarity will burn out the product and may even cause a serious fire).

2. The power supply voltage for the LED display screen is: 220V±10%, frequency: 50HZ±5%;

3. Ensure reliable grounding contact, reliable isolation between the ground wire and the neutral wire, and connect the power supply away from high-power electrical equipment;

4. If any abnormalities such as short circuits, tripping, burning wires, or smoke are found, do not repeatedly power on and test; the problem should be investigated immediately.

5. Maintain a stable power supply and provide grounding protection to prevent lightning strikes. Do not use the display in harsh natural conditions, especially during strong thunderstorms;

6. The power supply to the large screen must be supplied in steps, as the maximum power state of the entire screen will cause an impact on the entire power distribution system.

7. The LED display screen should not display a completely white screen at maximum brightness for more than half an hour, to avoid excessive current, overheating of power lines, and damage to LED lights, which will affect the lifespan of the display screen. It is recommended to mainly play dynamic videos;

8. During the use of the LED display screen product, the power should not be continuously switched on and off; there should be at least a 1-minute interval between these operations;

9. Non-professionals are prohibited from touching the internal wiring of the LED display screen to avoid electric shock or damage to the wiring; if a problem occurs, please have a professional technician repair it. IV. Cleaning Precautions

1. Regular Cleaning and Maintenance: LED full-color display screens are exposed to wind, sun, and rain in outdoor environments for extended periods. Even indoor LED displays accumulate dust and rainwater stains over time. Regular and timely cleaning is necessary to prevent affecting the viewing effect.

2. When cleaning the module surface, use a soft brush and gently brush the surface. Do not use any liquid substances to clean the LED module surface, otherwise, the LED beads may be damaged;

3. Correct Wiping Method: The surface of the LED display screen can be wiped with alcohol, or a brush or vacuum cleaner can be used for dust removal. Do not wipe directly with a wet cloth.

V. Moisture-proof and Storage Requirements

1. Storage Temperature Requirements: Ambient temperature -40℃≤t≤60℃. After opening the packaging, LED products must be stored in an environment with a temperature <30℃ and humidity <60%;

2. Depending on the environment of the display screen and control unit, prevent insect infestation, and place rodenticide if necessary.

3. LED displays should not be turned off for extended periods. In high-humidity environments, if the screen has not been used for more than 3 days, a preheating method should be used each time the screen is turned on: preheat at 30%-50% brightness for 4-8 hours, and then adjust to normal brightness (80%-100%) to turn on the screen, thereby removing moisture to ensure normal operation; if the screen has not been used for more than 7 days, a preheating method should be used each time the screen is turned on: preheat at 30%-50% brightness for more than 12 hours, and then adjust to normal brightness (80%-100%) to turn on the screen, thereby removing moisture to ensure normal operation.

VI. Precautions

Proper maintenance of the full-color LED display screen is crucial for extending its service life and ensuring its normal operation. The LED display screen should be regularly checked for proper functioning, and damaged lines should be repaired or replaced promptly. The main control computer and other related equipment should be placed in an air-conditioned, dust-free room to ensure proper ventilation, heat dissipation, and stable operation of the computer. The internal wiring of the screen should not be touched by non-professionals to avoid electric shock or damage to the circuitry. If any problems occur, please contact a professional for repair.
